The island of Elba is connected to the mainland by various flights during the summer season operated by Italian and foreign airlines. The airports connected are Milan, Zurich, Bern, Friedrichshafen and Munich. The airport is located in La Pila, approximately 20 km from Capoliveri. Elbafly operates scheduled flights between the Island of Elba and Milan Malpensa, Bergamo, Orio al Serio, Bologna, Pisa and Bastia.

The port of Piombino can also be reached by train. The Piombino Marittima railway station is located in the port, about 80 metres from the Maritime Station. During the summer, a free shuttle bus service connects the Maritime Station to the boarding points and from the boarding points to the car parks. FROM THE NORTH-WEST
A12 Genoa – Livorno motorway – exit at Rosignano. Alternatively, continue on the S.S Aurelia road to Venturina-Isola d’Elba and from there continue to Piombino Marittima.

FROM THE NORTH
Take the A1 motorway from Milan to Parma, then take the A15 from Parma to La Spezia, then the A12 to Livorno, exiting at Rosignano. Continue on the SS Aurelia to Venturina-Isola d'Elba and from there continue to Piombino Marittima.

FROM THE NORTH-EAST
A1 motorway Bologna – Florence – Pisa – Livorno – exit at Rosignano. Continue on the S.S Aurelia road to Venturina-Isola d’Elba and from there continue to Piombino Marittima.

Alternatively, take the Florence-Pisa-Livorno motorway: exit at Firenze Signa and follow the state road to Collesalvetti; rejoin the motorway to Rosignano Marittimo, then take the expressway to Venturina, then Piombino Marittima.

FROM THE SOUTH
A12 Rome-Grosseto motorway, SS Aurelia road, Venturina-Isola d'Elba exit, continue towards Piombino Marittima.

FROM PORTOFERRAIO
Prendere la strada provinciale per Porto Azzurro. Dopo una dozzina di chilometri, al bivio per Capoliveri, segnalato da un semaforo, si volta a destra. Giunti a Capoliveri, dopo averlo aggirato, si raggiunge il bivio per ‘Morcone Pareti Innamorata’ riconoscibile per la meravigliosa vista panoramica sul golfo Stella.

Scendere lungo la strada che costeggia il Golfo Stella e dopo circa 2.7km. Al bivio per Pareti continuare invece nella direzione Innamorata; dopo 300 mt. dal bivio e 50 mt prima del cartello Innamorata, sulla destra, verso il mare, troverete i due ingressi del Residence Cala Silente.

FROM CAVO or RIO MARINA
Seguire la direzione per Porto Azzurro-Portoferraio. Superato Porto Azzurro dopo circa 2 km, al semaforo, svoltare a sinistra per Capoliveri. Giunti a Capoliveri, dopo averlo aggirato, si raggiunge il bivio per ‘Morcone Pareti Innamorata’ riconoscibile per la meravigliosa vista panoramica sul golfo Stella.

Scendere lungo la strada che costeggia il Golfo Stella e dopo circa 2.7km. Al bivio per Pareti continuare invece nella direzione Innamorata; dopo 300 mt. dal bivio e 50 mt prima del cartello Innamorata, sulla destra, verso il mare, troverete i due ingressi del Residence Cala Silente.
